Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front stretching from NW Cuba to the northern
Yucatan Peninsula to the eastern Bay of Campeche will exit the
basin early this evening and gale conditions over Veracruz
adjacent waters will diminish. Strong winds and seas behind the
front will gradually diminish through Fri. Return S winds should
begin building over W Gulf on Fri ahead of the next cold front
moving off the Texas coast Sun. The front will move eastward
across the basin and exit Mon.  

.TONIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.FRI...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft,subsiding to
3 to 5 ft in the afternoon. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Gale force winds and large seas are over the NW 
forecast waters E of 77W, behind a strong cold front that extends
from 31N67W to 23N80W. The strong front will move quickly while 
the associated low pressure intensifies north of the forecast 
area. The front will stretch from 31N59W to eastern Cuba by 
tonight and from 21N65W to Hispaniola by Fri afternoon. Gale 
conditions associated with this system are expected through early 
Fri, mainly N of 27N with near gale-force winds reaching 25N. 
Winds will diminish Fri and seas should subside by Sun. The next 
cold front may move off the SE U.S.coast early Mon with fresh to 
strong winds off the Florida coast.

swell.
.FRI...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
