Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front moving across the Gulf will be over 
central Florida to Veracruz, Mexico tonight and exit the basin by 
Thu afternoon. Fresh to strong N winds are expected to follow the
front. Winds and seas will diminish on Fri. The next cold front 
will move approach the region by Sun night and exit by early Mon 
across the basin.

.TONIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW 20 to 25 kt after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Isolated showers. 
.THU...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.FRI...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure near 24N62W extends a ridge to South 
Florida. A strong cold front will move off the SE U.S. coast 
tonight while the associated low pressure rapidly intensifies 
north of the forecast area. The front will stretch from 31N69W
to western Cuba by Thu afternoon. Gale force winds and very large
seas are expected with this system tonight through Thu, mainly N 
of 27N. Winds and seas should diminish by Fri. The next cold 
front may move off the SE U.S. coast Sun night with fresh to 
strong winds off the Florida coast.
