Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front exiting the Texas coast this evening
will reach from the Florida Panhandle to the Yucatan Peninsula
late Thu, then exit the basin Fri morning. Behind the front,
strong NW winds will prevail. High pressure will build over the 
Gulf in the wake of the front with moderate winds prevailing 
through Sat. The next cold front will push off the Texas coast Sun
night and bring strong NW winds across the basin once again on 
Mon. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming S 15 to 20 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft in the
afternoon. 
.THU NIGHT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Isolated
showers. 
.FRI...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

Thu night, bringing a broad area of strong to near gale-force 
winds on both sides of it N of 26N into Sat night. Winds are 
expected to diminish by Sun. By Mon, winds will shift to the 
southeast ahead of the next system.

.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
