Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will stretch from the Florida Panhandle 
to the Yucatan Peninsula Thu night and exit the basin early Fri. 
Behind the front, strong NW winds will prevail. High pressure will
build over the Gulf in the wake of the front with moderate winds 
prevailing through Sat. The next cold front will approach the 
region by Mon night and bring fresh NW winds. 


.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming S 15 to 20 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft in the
afternoon. 
.THU NIGHT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Isolated
showers. 
.FRI...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
.SAT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front stretches from 31N57W to the southern 
Bahamas, where it stalls and continues into central Cuba. This 
front will slowly move away from the area on Thu and dissipate by
Thu night. The next cold front will move off the Florida coast 
Thu night, bringing a broad area of strong to near gale-force 
winds on both sides of it N of 27N through Sat. Winds are expected
to diminish by Sun. By Mon, winds will shift to the southeast 
ahead of the next system.

.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
