Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front stretches from Cape Coral, Florida, to the NE Yucatan Peninsula where it stalls further inland. This front will move SE of the area tonight and fresh N to NE winds over the SE and SW gulf behind the front will diminish. High pressure will build across the Gulf in the wake of the front providing return gentle to moderate winds through Wed evening. A new cold front will come off the Texas coast on Wed evening with fresh to strong N to NE winds behind it. Fresh to strong S to SW winds N of 27N and ahead of the cold front will progress E through Tue as the front exit the region. A reinforcing cold front will move across the waters N of 27N Tue followed by fresh to strong NW winds prevailing into early Thu.
