Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends across the basin from 29N83W to
the southwest Gulf. Moderate to fresh northwest winds will
accompany this front as it moves across the Gulf waters today.
High pressure shifts to the east with southerly flow returning
by middle of the week. On Thu, a strong cold front will enter
the basin and bring possible gale force winds in the SW Gulf.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N36W to 28N41W, then 
becomes stationary from that point to 24N59W. This boundary will
dissipate within the next 12 to 18 hours. The next cold front 
will move off the Florida coast today, reach the southern 
Bahamas and southern Cuba by Tue, and continue moving eastward
on Wed. Gale force winds will develop ahead of the front off the
 Florida coast and north of the Bahamas today. These winds will
diminish tonight. By the end of the week, a strong cold front 
will push off the northeast Florida coast enhancing winds and 
convection. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W 10 to
15 kt in the afternoon. N of 27N,SW winds 25 to 30 kt, becoming
W to NW 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
