Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extends from the SE Louisiana coast to just south of Tampico, Mexico with northerly gales currently immediately behind the front. The front will cross much of the Gulf today, reaching from Central Florida to the central Bay of Campeche this evening. Gale force northerly winds will shift from offshore of Tampico this morning to offshore Veracruz during the day. The front will then weaken considerably and move slowly southeastward across the remainder of the basin. Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf Tue night and cross the basin by Thu.
