Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure continue to build across the basin in
the wake of a cold front that currently extends across the
western Atlantic and west Caribbean. Moderate to fresh northerly
winds over the eastern half of the basin will gradually diminish
tonight. Surface ridging will prevail through Thu with light to
gentle variable winds. Moderate to fresh return flow will establish
over the western half of the basin Thu night ahead of the next 
cold front forecast to enter the NW Gulf Fri. 

.TODAY...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to gale force winds prevail in the forecast
waters NE of the Bahamas to the N of 25N associated with a
strong cold front that extends from 31N64W to eastern Cuba.
Strong winds will shift E of 65W late this afternoon and seas
associated with  the passage of the front will subside by Wed A
reinforcing cold front will extend along the northern waters Fri
and dissipate Fri night. A third cold front will enter the NW
forecast waters Sat night. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N,NW to N
winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 5 to 7 ft in N swell.
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 10 to 15 kt
