Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure is building across the basin in the
wake of a cold front that currently extends across the western
Atlantic and west Caribbean. Fresh to strong northerly winds
over the eastern half of the basin will gradually diminish
through Tue morning. Surface ridging will prevail through Thu
with light to gentle variable winds. Moderate to fresh return
flow will establish over the western half of the basin Thu night
ahead of the next cold front forecast to enter the NW Gulf Fri.

.TUE...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from northern Bahamas into the
west Caribbean. Gale force winds are noted in the vicinity of
the front mainly N of 27N. These winds and building seas will 
follow the front as it traverses the northern forecast waters W 
of 65W through late Tue morning. Winds and seas associated with 
the passage of the front will subside by mid week. 

.TONIGHT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft in NE to E swell. 
.TUE...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
