Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends 26N82W to a 1010 mb low
near 25N87W. A cold front extends from the low to 19N91W. To the
SW of this low, gale winds have developed offshore Veracruz,
Mexico and will weaken by the morning hours. To the northeast, a
1010 mb low is centered near 29N86W, with cold front extending
from the low to 24N90W. Both lows and front will merge and move
east across the Atlantic waters through the forecast period.
Winds and seas will diminish Tue as high pressure builds over
the northern Gulf. Looking ahead, southerly return flow will
increase over the NW Gulf by Thu ahead of the next cold front.  

.TODAY...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 ft,building to 4 to 6 ft
in the afternoon. Slight chance of showers. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

.TUE NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary extends across the west Atlantic
along 28N and west of 72W. This boundary will merge with the
next front that will move off the SE U.S. coast today. By Tue,
the front will stretch from Bermuda through the SE Bahamas and 
into eastern Cuba. Gale force winds are likely to develop on 
either sides of the front mainly N of 28N through early Wed. 

.TODAY...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 20 to
30 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
