Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends 26N82W to a 1010 mb low
near 24N89W to 19N92W. A trough extends NW from the low to
26N93W. To the SW of this low, gale winds have developed
offshore Veracruz, Mexico tonight. The low will move quickly NE
and out of the NE Gulf late tonight, dragging a reinforcing cold
front through the eastern Gulf. This cold front will exit the SE
Gulf by Mon afternoon. Winds and seas will diminish Tue as high
pressure builds over the northern Gulf. Looking ahead, southerly
return flow will increase over the NW Gulf by Thu ahead of the
next cold front.  

.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S 10 to 15 kt after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.MON...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
5 ft in the afternoon. Slight chance of showers. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TUE...N winds 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary from E of Bermuda through the 
northern Bahamas to the Florida Straits is gradually stalling 
this afternoon. This front will weaken overnight and begin to 
lift northward, as a second cold front moves off the SE U.S. 
coast Mon. By Tue, the front will stretch from Bermuda through 
the SE Bahamas and into eastern Cuba. Ahead of the front, gale 
force S winds are likely to develop N of 29N and E of 70W from 
Mon night through Tue. Westerly gales will develop behind the 
front over the same area Tue into Tue night.

tstms. 
.MON...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to 25 kt N
