Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Eta near 27.3N 83.6W 990 mb at 4 PM
EST moving N at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts
75 kt. Eta will move to 28.6N 83.1W tonight, then move across
north Florida and reach the Atlantic coast near 30.4N 81.5W by
Thu afternoon. Eta will weaken to a tropical depression off
South Carolina by Fri night, then continue to weaken as it moves
northward along a frontal boundary off the coast, before
dissipating Sun. The front will move into the NW Gulf tonight,
before stalling across the central Gulf through late Fri, then
lifting north and dissipating through Sat. Looking ahead,
another cold front will move into the northern Gulf late Sun,
and reach the central Gulf by late Mon.

fresh to strong SE winds and  associated seas will diminish
through Fri as Eta moves north. A trough will move to the north
of the Leeward and Virgin Islands  Sat through Mon.
