.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Eta near 23.2N 85.1W 992 mb at 4 PM
EST moving N at 6 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 60 kt.
Eta will move to 24.1N 84.9W Wed morning, 25.6N 84.8W Wed
afternoon, 26.9N 84.5W Thu morning, 27.9N 84.2W Thu afternoon,
28.7N 84.0W Fri morning, and 29.1N 84.0W Fri afternoon. Eta will
change little in intensity as it moves to near 29.7N 84.6W Sat
afternoon. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the
Gulf waters E of 87W. A cold front will move into the NW Gulf
Wed and become stationary over the northern Gulf through Fri
night, then lift back north as a warm front Sat.

.SYNOPSIS...A tight pressure gradient between strong high
pressure over the western Atlantic and Tropical Storm Eta over
the SE Gulf of Mexico will support fresh to strong E-SE winds
through Wed night. These winds will maintain large seas in the
western Atlantic before gradually subsiding through late Thu
night. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 11 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
