Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The combination of high pressure over the eastern
United States and western Atlantic and broad low pressure over
western Caribbean will support fresh to strong easterly winds
over the eastern Gulf through tonight. Gentle to moderate winds
will prevail elsewhere through Sun.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Epsilon well east of the forecast waters
near 29.1N 59.0W 972 mb at 11 AM EDT is moving WNW at 10 kt. 
Maximum sustained winds 80 kt gusts 100 kt. Epsilon will move to
near 29.5N 60.1W this evening with maximum sustained winds 85 kt 
gusts 105 kt, to near 30.9N 60.8W Thu morning with maximum 
sustained winds 85 kt gusts 105 kt, then move north of the area 
near 32.3N 61.2W Thu evening with maximum sustained winds 80 kt 
gusts 100 kt. The gradient between strong high pressure over the 
western Atlantic and Hurricane Epsilon will maintain strong winds 
and large seas over the western waters through Fri. Long-period 
northeast to east swell will impact the waters north and northeast
of the Bahamas through Fri night.
