Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The combination between high pressure over the
eastern United States and broad low pressure over western
Caribbean will continue to support fresh to strong easterly
winds and building seas over the southeastern Gulf through early
Thu. Gentle to moderate winds under a weaker pressure gradient
will prevail elsewhere through the forecast period.  

.TONIGHT...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in N to NE swell.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Epsilon near 27.9N 55.8W 992 mb at 5 
PM EDT moving NW at 11 kt. Maximum sustained winds 55 kt gusts 65
kt. Epsilon will strengthen to a hurricane as it moves to near 
28.8N 57.8W late tonight with maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts
70 kt and will gradually continue to intensify as it tracks in a 
general northwestward motion through Thu passing well to the
northeast of the area. The pressure gradient between high 
pressure over the western Atlantic and Epsilon will maintain fresh
to strong northeast to east winds over the western waters through
Thu. Expect for northeast to east swell to impact the waters 
north and northeast of the Bahamas through Fri night before 
slowly subsiding Sat and Sat night.
