Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Delta near 26.9N 93.7W 953 mb at 5 AM EDT
moving N at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 105 kt gusts 130 kt. 
Delta will begin to weaken as it moves to near 28.6N 93.3W this 
afternoon with maximum sustained winds 95 kt gusts 115 kt, then 
move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near 31.1N 92.3W late 
tonight. Otherwise, western Atlantic high pressure will extend 
southwestward to the eastern Gulf through early next week.

.TODAY...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated showers 
and thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated showers

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near 31N63W to 28N73W and 
to 29N78W, where it becomes stationary to just inland northeastern
Florida. The cold front portion will stall along roughly 27N on 
Fri. The western portion of the front will lift back north as a 
warm front through early Sat. Behind the front, a tightening 
gradient will bring fresh northeast to east winds over most of the
northern waters Fri through late Sat. A weak pressure pattern 
will allow for gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate 
seas from Sun into early next week.
