Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from SE Louisiana to
western Cuba is dissipating tonight. Remnants of the front, as a
surface trough, will lift northward across the eastern Gulf over
the next couple of days. A weak low may develop along the trough
axis.  

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 15 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Numerous showers and scattered tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SE to S winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NE in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Swell previously generated by Hurricane Teddy and a
cold front that moved through at the start of the week will
continue to gradually subside over the forecast area through Thu.
Generally gentle to moderate easterly winds can be expected into 
the weekend. 

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 6 to 9 ft
in NE swell. Slight chance of showers. 
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
