.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Beta near 27.9N 95.7W 996 mb at 11 AM
EDT moving WNW at 6 kt. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts
55 kt. Beta will move to 28.3N 96.5W this evening, inland to
28.5N 96.7W Tue morning, to 28.8N 96.3W Tue evening, weaken to a
tropical depression near 29.1N 95.3W Wed morning, 29.7N 94.0W
Wed evening, and to 30.8N 92.5W Thu morning. Beta will move to
33.5N 89.8W early Fri A cold front will continue to move across
the eastern half of the Gulf today. Fresh to strong NE to E
winds and building seas will follow the front into Tue.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Teddy near 31.1N 62.7W 960 mb at 11 AM EDT
 moving NNE at 12 kt. Maximum sustained winds 80 kt gusts
100 kt.  Teddy will move to 34.4N 62.4W this evening, 38.2N
63.7W Tue  morning, 40.7N 64.3W Tue evening, become
extratropical and move to 43.7N 63.0W Wed morning, weaken as an 
extratropical cyclone near 47.5N 60.5W Wed evening, and inland 
to 51.5N 55.5W Thu morning. Teddy will dissipate early Fri. A 
cold front moving SE through the waters will lead to Gale 
conditions over the NE part of the forecast waters through this 
evening. Long period swell generated by both  Hurricane Teddy 
and this cold front will impact the waters into  late week.
