.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Beta near 24.3N 93.1W 1004 mb at 5 PM
EDT moving NNE at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 35 kt gusts
45 kt. Beta will move to 25.1N 92.9W Sat morning, 25.9N 93.0W
Sat afternoon, 26.1N 93.7W Sun morning, 26.3N 94.6W Sun
afternoon, strengthen to a hurricane near 26.5N 95.5W Mon
morning, and 26.8N 96.3W Mon afternoon. Beta will weaken to a
tropical storm over near 27.5N 96.5W by Tue afternoon. A cold
front will move through the northeast Gulf through the weekend,
bringing fresh NE winds into early next week.  

.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Teddy is centered near 23.1N 57.0W 951 mb 
at 5 PM EDT moving NW at 12 kt. Maximum sustained winds 110 kt 
gusts 135 kt. Teddy will move to 24.5N 58.1W Sat morning, 26.5N 
59.9W Sat afternoon, 28.1N 61.6W Sun morning, 29.7N 62.6W Sun 
afternoon, 31.8N 62.5W Mon morning, and 35.6N 61.7W Mon 
afternoon. Teddy will become extratropical as it moves to 43.2N
62.7W by Tue afternoon. Swell generated by Teddy will impact the
Bahamas this weekend. A strong cold front will move off the 
southeastern U.S. coast Fri night, then gradually weaken and 
become stationary from near Bermuda into southern Florida early 
next week. Near gale force northeast winds are expected north of
 the Bahamas this weekend into early next week, along with 
building seas.
