Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough across the eastern Gulf will drift
W through the remainder of the week. Surface ridging will extend
across the Gulf leading to fairly tranquil marine conditions
through the upcoming weekend and into early next week.  

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Paulette near 22.1N 50.1W 997 mb at 
5 PM EDT moving WNW at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts
 55 kt. Paulette will move to 22.5N 51.5W Fri morning, 23.6N
53.4W  Fri afternoon, 25.0N 55.1W Sat morning, 26.6N 56.8W Sat
afternoon, 28.0N 58.9W Sun morning, and strengthen to a
hurricane near 29.2N 61.4W Sun afternoon. Paulette will change
little in intensity as  it moves to near 31.5N 65.5W Mon
afternoon. Swells associated with Paulette are beginning to
spread into the waters E of the Bahamas and will continue to
propagate and build through the weekend.  Elsewhere, a surface
trough NE-E of Florida will drift W through  the remainder of
the week.

and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...E to SE winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to
