.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough across the eastern Gulf will drift
W through the remainder of the week. Surface ridging will extend
across the Gulf leading to fairly tranquil marine conditions
through the upcoming weekend and into early next week.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Paulette near 20.9N 49.0W 996 mb at 5 
AM EDT moving WNW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 60 
kt. Paulette will move to 21.3N 50.4W this afternoon, 21.8N 52.4W 
Fri morning, 22.8N 54.2W Fri afternoon, 24.1N 55.9W Sat morning, 
25.7N 57.5W Sat afternoon, and 27.1N 59.4W Sun morning. Paulette 
will strengthen to a hurricane near 29.7N 63.7W early Mon, then 
reach near 32.0N 64.9W early Tue. Swells associated with Paulette 
are beginning to spread into the waters E of the Bahamas and will 
continue to propagate and build through the weekend. Elsewhere, a 
surface trough NE-E of Florida will drift W through the remainder 
of the week.
