Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure extending from the western
Atlantic to across the central Gulf will support gentle winds
and low seas across the through mid- week. Locally fresh winds
are possible late this evening in the eastern Bay of Campeche
near the Yucatan peninsula due to local effects. A weak cold
front may stall along the northern Gulf coast Mon into Tue.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...Variable winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft
in E to SE swell. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT... NE to E winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers
and thunderstorms.
.MON...Variable winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft in E to SE 
swell. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Recently downgraded Tropical Depression Josephine 
near 20.4N 65.0W 1009 mb at 11 AM EDT is moving WNW at 11 kt. 
Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts 40 kt. Josephine 
will move to 21.3N 66.4W this evening, then weaken to a remnant 
low near 22.5N 67.9W Mon morning with maximum winds 25 kt with 
gusts to 35 kt, reach to near 23.9N 69.0W Mon evening, near 25.5N 
69.4W Tue morning, 26.8N 69.0W Tue evening, and to near 28.2N 
68.3W Wed morning. The remnant low dissipate early Thu. Otherwise,
persistent high pressure ridge extending from the Atlantic into 
the Gulf of Mexico will support gentle to moderate south to 
southeast winds. A weak cold front may stall just offshore the 
southeast U.S. coast early next week.
