Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters into mid week
producing mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight seas with
the exception of moderate to locally fresh winds near the W
coast of the Yucatan peninsula due to local effects. Looking
ahead, the ridge will shift north starting mid week, ahead of a
trough that will move westward across Florida and into the
southeast Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh southerly winds are expected over the waters 
north of 27N between 70W and 80W tonight due to the pressure 
gradient between high pressure to the east and lower pressure
over Florida. Otherwise, expect fresh to locally strong winds
off the northern coast of Hispaniola through the entire forecast
period.  

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...S of 27N,S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE in the
afternoon. N of 27N,SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the
morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...S of 27N,NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,W winds less
