Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters during the
next several days producing mainly gentle to moderate winds and
slight seas with the exception of moderate to locally fresh
winds near the W coast of the Yucatan peninsula due to local
effects.  

.TODAY...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW to N after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected over
the waters north of 27N between 70W and 80W through Mon night
due to the pressure gradient between the Bermuda-Azores High and
lower pressure over Florida. Otherwise, expect fresh to locally
strong winds off the northern coast of Hispaniola through the 
entire forecast period. 

.TODAY...SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...SE to S winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
