Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters during the
next several days producing gentle to moderate winds and slight
seas with the exception of moderate to locally fresh winds near
the western coast of the Yucatan peninsula due to local effects.

.OVERNIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.SUN...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected over
the waters north of 27N and west of 70W through Mon, as the
pressure gradient tightens between the Bermuda-Azores High and
and lower pressure over the SE CONUS. Winds and seas will 
diminish early next week as high pressure builds across the 
northern waters. Elsewhere, moderate to fresh trade winds will 
persist around the southern periphery of the ridge. 

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
