Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge will prevail over the Gulf waters
through the weekend. Fresh to locally strong southerly winds are
forecast over the western Gulf through tonight due to the
pressure gradient between the ridge and lower pressure over
Mexico.  

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft after midnight. 
.FRI...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

region over the next several days. Fresh to occasionally strong 
easterly winds will pulse across the waters north of Hispaniola 
each night through Sat night.
