Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters during the
next several days supporting mainly gentle to moderate easterly
winds and seas generally under 5 ft. Fresh northerly winds and
seas to 5 ft will occasionally occur near and to the NW of the
western Yucatan Peninsula due to local effects. A surface trough
will move across the SE waters over the next couple of days with
little impact in winds and seas.

.SYNOPSIS...Abundant cloudiness, with embedded showers and 
thunderstorms, are expected to persist over most of the forecast
region trough Thu in association with a trough, that currently 
extends over the NW Bahamas. The trough will move eastward, mainly
across the waters N of 27N through Thu while weakening. Winds and
seas could be higher near thunderstorms. The Atlantic high 
pressure will build again across the region toward the end of the 
week. Expect pulsing fresh to locally strong easterly winds N of 
Hispaniola at night.
