Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Cristobal is near 23.8N 90.2W 997 mb
at 5 AM EDT moving N at 12 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 40 kt
with gusts to 50 kt. Cristobal will move to 25.0N 90.4W this
afternoon, 26.8N 90.4W Sun morning, and 28.8N 90.5W Sun
afternoon. Cristobal will make landfall Sun night and be inland
near 30.6N 91.3W Mon morning. Cristobal will weaken to a
depression over Louisiana Mon afternoon, then continue moving
northward away from the area. Once Cristobal moves inland,
moderate to fresh southerly flow will be present across most of
the north- central Gulf waters through late Tue.  

.TODAY...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. SE winds 25 to
30 kt. Seas 3 to 15 ft in NE swell. Numerous showers and
scattered tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Abundant tropical moisture spreading NE from the NW
Caribbean and Tropical Storm Cristobal will continue to support
scattered showers and thunderstorms near Florida and to the
north of the Bahamas through the weekend. Early next week, a
weak cold front will approach northern waters before stalling.

.TODAY...SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
