Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extends from the Florida Big Bend
to the Yucatan Peninsula. Scattered showers and tstms and ahead
of the front affecting the SE basin, the Yucatan channel and the
Florida Straits. The front will move eastward across the Gulf
through Tue evening. A second cold front is forecast to stall
along the northern Gulf Coast late Wed through Fri. Elsewhere,
smoke from agricultural fires in Mexico may reduce visibility at
times in the Bay of Campeche for the next several days.  

.OVERNIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...SW to W winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.TUE NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Arthur near 36.4N 72.4W 991 mb at 11 
PM EDT moving ENE at 13 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts
60 kt. Arthur will become extratropical and move to 36.9N 70.1W
Tue morning, 36.4N 67.3W Tue evening, 35.2N 65.8W Wed morning, 
33.7N 64.6W Wed evening, and 32.3N 64.4W Thu evening. Arthur will 
weaken to a remnant low near 30.9N 64.3W late Fri, and dissipate 
Sat. Northerly swell from Arthur is expected to move into the 
waters N of the Bahamas Wed and subside by Fri morning. Otherwise,
a weak cold front will move across Florida into the far western 
waters Tue night and dissipate by Wed morning.
