Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Low pres 1011 mb over the Straits of Florida near
23.5N81.5W will slowly move NE over the Bahamas Sat. A ridge
extending into the NE Gulf will maintain fresh to strong E to SE
winds E of 90W this morning. Moderate to fresh SE winds will
prevail across the rest of basin through Sun. Low pressure may
develop near Louisiana Sun and drag a weak cold front across the
northern Gulf early next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SAT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pres 1011 mb centered over the Florida Straits
near 23.5N81.5W will move slowly NE to near 28N78W Sat morning,
to near 30N77W Sun morning, then to N of the area near 32.5N75W
Mon morning. Gradual development of the low is expected, and it
will likely become a tropical or subtropical storm Sat when it
is located near the NW Bahamas.  Frequent gusts to gale force
are  possible near to and north of the Bahamas the next two
days. A  stationary front extending from 25.5N65W to E of the
Bahamas near  24.5N72W will dissipate by Sun.
