Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will reach the NW Gulf tonight, extend
from SW Florida to near Tampico, Mexico by Wed night into Thu,
then exit the basin on Thu while weakening. Fresh to strong
winds will follow the front through early Thu. Southerly return
flow will increase across the NW Gulf by Thu night ahead of the
next cold front forecast to enter the region Fri night. A low
pressure system could develop along the frontal boundary over
the SW Gulf during the upcoming weekend. Fresh to strong winds
and building seas are expected in association with the
developing low and cold front. Otherwise, smoke from forest
fires in southern Mexico could cause haze and reduced
visibilities over the SW Gulf for the next few days.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front is clipping the NE waters today. The 
next cold front will enter the NW waters on Wed, extend from
near 31N70W to the central Bahamas on Thu, and move across the
SE waters on Fri. Fresh to strong winds are expected on either 
side of the front. Southerly flow will increase over the NW 
portion of the area on Fri night ahead of another cold front 
forecast to come off the coast of Georgia Sat morning and extend 
from 31N65W to the NW Bahamas by Sat night. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft late. 
.WED...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.WED NIGHT...S of 27N, W winds 15 to 20 kt. N of 27N, SW winds
10 to 15 kt, becoming W to NW 20 to 25 kt late. Seas 2 ft or less
