Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stalling front that extends from the Florida Big
Bend region to near 25N90W to offshore of Brownsville, Texas
will lift northward as a warm front tonight into early Sat.
Strong thunderstorms ahead of the front may produce gusty winds
and locally higher seas over the NE Gulf tonight. A reinforcing
cold front will move into the NW Gulf late tonight, cross the
northern Gulf Sat and Sat night, then extend from near Tampa,
Florida into the SW Gulf on Sun. This front will exit the basin
by Mon as a high pressure ridge passes eastward across the Gulf
early next week. Another cold front may move into the northern
Gulf late Wed or Wed night.  

.OVERNIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 4 to
6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW in the afternoon.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.MON...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move off the SE U.S. coast
tonight, then stall near 31N and lift northward as a warm front
on Sat. Fresh to strong S to SW winds over the far northern
waters will diminish tonight. Strong thunderstorms ahead of the
front may produce gusty winds and locally higher seas offshore
of Florida into early Sat. Another cold front will move off the
SE U.S. coast Sat night and cross the offshore waters N of 22N
Sun through Mon night. The front is expected to stall along
24-25N Tue through Wed as high pressure tracks eastward roughly
along 31N.

.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N of

.SUN...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.

.SUN NIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW to W 15 to
20 kt after midnight. Seas 3 ft.
