Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate most of the Gulf waters this
weekend. A cold front will reach the northern Gulf early Sat,
then weaken and lift northward Sat night ahead of another cold
front that is expected to reach the Texas coast Sun night. Smoke
from agricultural fires in southern Mexico and Honduras may
reduce visibility in the southern Gulf west of 85W.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft
or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N60W to the NW Bahamas will
stall and weaken east of the Bahamas later today. Fresh to
strong NE  winds north of the boundary will diminish through
tonight. A  second cold front will move across the northern
waters Sat night  and Sun, then stall and weaken Sun night.
Expect fresh to strong southerly winds ahead of the front.
Another cold front will move  into the northern waters Mon
night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of
27N.
