Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail across the Gulf waters
through Thu. A cold front will reach the northern Gulf Thu
night, then stall and weaken across the southern Gulf Fri night.
Southerly winds will increase across the basin this weekend
ahead of another cold front forecast to reach the NW Gulf on
Sun. The front should reach from the Florida Big Bend to the
central Bay of Campeche on Mon. Smoke from agricultural fires in
southern Mexico may reduce visibilities over the SW Gulf and Bay
of Campeche.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the waters S of 27N while a
trough will move across the northern waters tonight and Thu. 
Expect fresh to strong winds on either side of the trough, but 
mainly on the E side. A cold front will move SE across the
region  Thu night through Sat night. Southerly winds will
increase east of Florida Sat night through Sun night, possibly
reaching gale force N of 30N. 

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, SW
winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 2 ft or
less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
