Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters over the next
few days, with a weak high pressure cell developing over the SE
Gulf. This system will move toward western Cuba on Thu, ahead of
the next cold front forecast to reach the northern Gulf Thu
night into Fri. The front will stall and weaken over the
northern or central waters Fri night. Fresh to locally strong NE
to E winds will follow the front. Southerly winds will increase
across the region during the upcoming weekend. Smoke from
agricultural fires in southern Mexico may reduce visibilities
over the SW Gulf and Bay of Campeche.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure offshore of Florida will track SE 
through Wed, then maintain a ridge across the southern waters 
through late week. A trough will cross the northern waters Wed 
night and Thu. Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected
across the N waters ahead of the trough. A cold front is
expected to  move SE across the SW N Atlantic waters Thu night
through Sat.  night. Southerly winds are forecast to increase E
of Florida late  Sat night into Sun between a low pressure over
the SE CONUS and a ridge over the western Atlantic.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.WED...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
