Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from south Florida
westward across the central Gulf along 25N-26N will linger
today, then weaken and lift northward tonight. A ridge will
build across the Gulf Tue and persist through mid-week. A cold
front is expected to drop southward and cross the northern Gulf
late Thu night and Fri, then stall and weaken over the northern
or central waters Fri night. Smoke from agricultural fires in
southern Mexico may reduce visibilities over the SW Gulf and Bay
of Campeche.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A nearly stationary front extending across south
Florida to the NW Bahamas will weaken tonight into early Tue. 
Northerly swell generated by a complex low pressure system over 
the central Atlantic will produce large seas across the forecast
waters through tonight. Seas will subside Tue through mid-week
as high pressure passes SE across the northern waters. A ridge
will persist over the southern waters through Fri. A cold front 
is expected to move off the SE U.S. coast and across the northern 
waters Thu night through Fri night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N, SE winds 15 to 20 kt in the
afternoon. N of 27N, E winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas
3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
