Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending over the Yucatan Channel
from 22N85W to 22N88W will weaken and dissipate by Sat. High pres
ridging over the NE Gulf will promote moderate SE winds over the 
basin through Sat night. Fresh to strong winds will pulse each 
evening N and W of the Yucatan Peninsula as a thermal trough moves
NW from the Peninsula over the Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 25N65W to the coast of Cuba
near 22N78W. This front will slowly shift E to eventually extend 
from 22N57W to the Leeward Islands near 18N62W by Sun morning. 
Gale conditions are possible N of 29N and E of 68W Fri night 
through early Sat as intense low pres centered SE of New England 
sinks S toward Bermuda. N swell generated by the low will produce 
very large seas across the SW N Atlc waters through the weekend, 
then seas will gradually subside as the swell decay early next 
week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE swell.
