Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail today across the E
Gulf. A weak frontal trough will sink S into the NE Gulf coastal
waters this morning before dissipating tonight. High pressure
will then build across the NE Gulf Fri through Sat. A cold front
will move into the western Gulf Sat evening, with a modest
increase in winds and seas expected behind the front. The front
will stall and dissipate over the northern Gulf Sun evening.
Moderate to fresh return flow will develop on Mon.  

.TODAY...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft late.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak and narrow high pressure ridge along 24N will 
retreat to the NE today as a cold front enters the NW waters.
The  cold front will move SE across the waters north of 22N
through  Fri night before dissipating across the central
Bahamas.  Associated northerly swell will propagate across the
northern  waters Thu night through Fri night. High pressure will
build  across the northern waters in the wake of the front late
Fri and  prevail through Sun. A weak cold front will move into
the  northern waters Mon.

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.FRI...E winds 10 to 15 kt. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less, building
