Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Florida Big Bend to
26N85.5W to the NW Yucatan peninsula will continue SE and reach
from near Sarasota, Florida to the NE Yucatan peninsula around
midnight tonight, then move SE of the basin by early Fri
evening. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are expected
through early Sat in association with the front. Strong NE to E
winds will prevail through the Straits of Florida and SE Gulf
Sat night through Mon night before conditions gradually improve
basin wide. 

.TONIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft
in the afternoon. Scattered showers.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge across the western Atlantic will continue to
 shift gradually eastward tonight, ahead of a cold front that
will move off northern Florida early Fri. The front will reach
from  31N69W to western Cuba Fri evening, from 25N65W to the
Windward Passage Sat evening, then stall and weaken over the SE
waters Sun night through Mon. Strong to near gale force winds
are  expected across the waters N of 29N ahead of the front Fri
and Fri night, with strong winds and large seas behind the front
Fri  through Mon.
