Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected across
the western Gulf through Tue night, ahead of the next cold front
forecast to enter the NW Gulf by Wed morning. The front will
reach from SE Louisiana to near Tampico, Mexico on Wed evening,
and from the western Florida Panhandle to near Veracruz, Mexico
by Thu morning. The front is forecast to reach the SE Gulf by
Thu night. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are also
expected in the wake of the front.  

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the afternoon. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 5 ft late. 
.WED...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending across the SE waters from
22N60W to the Mona Passage will dissipate tonight into Tue. High
 pressure will move eastward along 28N through mid week in the
wake of the front. Southerly flow will increase north of the
Bahamas  by Wed night, ahead of the next cold front moving off
the coast  of Florida Thu night into Fri. Southerly winds, ahead
of the front, may reach gale force off northeast Florida by late
Thu night. The front should reach from 31N72W to the Straits of
Florida on Fri, and from near Bermuda to the central Bahamas by 
Sat morning. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 3 ft,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less.
