Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the central Gulf will shift east
of the basin later today. This pattern will support fresh to
strong southerly flow through Tue in the western Gulf ahead of
the next front. The front is expected to enter the northwest
Gulf Wed, reach from the western Florida Panhandle to near
Veracruz Mexico by early Thu, pushing southeast of the basin
Fri. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are expected on
either side of the front.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near 23N65W to northern
Haiti will stall along roughly 20N today before dissipating
through Tue. High pressure will move west to east along 28N
through mid week in the wake of the front. Southerly flow will
increase north of the Bahamas by Wed night, reaching gale force
by Thu night off northeast Florida, ahead of a cold front moving
off the coast by early Fri. The front should reach from Bermuda
to the Windward Passage Sat. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E in the
afternoon. N of 27N,NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SW to W
less than 5 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N
