Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure building over the western Gulf will
shift eastward across the basin through Mon. This pattern will
support fresh to strong southerly flow Mon through Tue in the
western Gulf ahead of the next front. The front is expected to
enter the basin by early Wed, reach from SE Louisiana to the
southwest Gulf Wed night, pushing southeast of the basin by the
end of the week. Fresh to strong winds and building seas are
expected on either side of the front.  

.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near 28N65W to eastern 
Cuba will move southeast and reach from the southeast waters and 
near Puerto Rico tonight into Mon. Fresh to near gale force winds 
behind the front will diminish tonight, while large, fresh seas 
gradually subside. High pressure will build in behind the front 
from west to east through mid week. Fresh to strong southerly 
winds are expected by the end of the week ahead of the next cold 
front. That front is forecast to shift off Florida Fri, reaching 
from near Bermuda to the SE Bahamas by late Fri night.

.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. S of 27N, seas 3 to 4 ft. N of 27N, seas 5 to 7 ft,
subsiding to 3 to 5 ft late. 
.MON...S of 27N, NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE in the
afternoon. N of 27N, NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SW less
than 5 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
5 ft N of 27N. 
.MON NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
