Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 1012 mb over the northern Gulf near
29N88W has a trailing cold front to near Veracruz, Mexico. The
low will track eastward across the remainder of the
north-central Gulf through tonight, the east-southeast, reaching
S Florida by early Tue while the front sags S and slowly
dissipates. Another cold front will move off the Texas coast Tue
night, weakening by the time it reaches the SE Gulf Wed night
ahead of a third front, which may impact the basin by the end of
the week. It is expected to be followed by fresh to strong
northerly winds.  

.TODAY...S winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to SW to W 10 to 15 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extending from near 31N64W to the 
central Bahamas will slowly move east today while dissipating. 
Another cold front will move into the northern portion by Mon 
night, eventually stalling along 26N by mid-week and then
lifting northward. Low pressure will move across northern
Florida Wed,  emerge off the coast Wed night, then track east
across the area  through Thu night. A weak high pressure ridge
will nose southwest into the area Fri and Fri night as a
stationary front forms  along the northeast Florida coast. 

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to 15 kt
