As the high pressure slides east Wed, winds across the E Gulf will weaken and strong S return flow will develop over the NW Gulf. A cold front moving into the NW Gulf Thu will shift fresh to strong return flow to the N central Gulf Thu and will bring an end the strong winds Fri.
