Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong north wind will prevail today and tonight over
the eastern Gulf. As high pressure slides E Wed, winds across the
eastern Gulf will lessen and strong southerly winds will evolve 
over the NW Gulf. A cold front moving into the NW Gulf Thu will 
end the strong winds. This front will cross the Gulf by Fri. 

.TODAY...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 6 to 8 ft in N swell. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front that extends early this morning from SE
of Bermuda through the SE Bahamas and into central Cuba will 
slow down today as low pressure forms along it to the east of
the Bahamas. As this low moves slowly NE toward Bermuda through
Thu, a very tight pressure gradient will develop between it and 
strong high pressure over the SE U.S. This will result in gales 
developing by this evening off the N coast of Florida, then 
spreading across most areas N of 27N and W of 67W over the next 
several days.
