Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge over the SE United States is promoting
tranquil conditions through Thu. A cold front will move
southward over the NE Gulf Thu evening, become stationary in the
NE Gulf Fri afternoon, then dissipate late on Sat. Afterwards,
weak SE return flow will become established across the basin
ahead of the next cold front entering the NW Gulf Sat night. The
front should extend from the Big Bend coast of Florida to near
Tampico Sun afternoon. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.THU AND THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI THROUGH SAT...SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A strong Bermuda High over the W Atlantic is
maintaining moderate to strong trades south of 22N. These trades
combined with some N swell continue to produce high seas south of
22N. The trades and associated seas should diminish on Thu. A 
cold front will enter the N waters Thu evening, then continue 
southward crossing the region Sat evening. The cold front will be 
accompanied by a new, large long-period N swell. 

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU AND THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE
20 to 25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
