Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near Tampa Florida to
the Yucatan peninsula will reach from south Florida to the
Yucatan channel this evening, then exit the basin overnight.
Strong NW to N winds and 8 to 12 ft seas are expected W of the
front tonight. Winds and seas will diminish Sun and Mon as high
pres builds over the area. Another cold front will cross the
northern Gulf Tue and Tue night, then stall and weaken over the
central Gulf Wed. 

.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in SW
swell. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in W to NW
swell. 
.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the western Atlantic will shift 
E today ahead of a strong cold front crossing Florida. The front 
will reach from 31N76W to southern Florida tonight, and from 
28N65W to eastern Cuba Sun night, then stall and weaken from 
23N65W to Hispaniola Mon. Gale force winds are expected tonight 
and Sun N of 27N following the front. A brief period of winds to 
gale force will precede the front well to the E of the coastal 
waters. High pressure will build across the area Mon and Tue.

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W to NW
20 to 25 kt after midnight. N of 27N, W winds 20 to 30 kt with
frequent gusts to gale force. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SUN...N winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
