Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Panhandle to a 
weak low near 27N92W, then southwestward to 21N97W near Tampico 
Mexico. The cold front will move eastward across the Gulf tonight 
and Sat, then exit the Gulf on Sat night. A reinforcing cold front
will cross the northern Gulf tonight through Sat night. 
Strengthening winds and building seas are expected across the Gulf
in association with these fronts. Winds and seas will diminish 
Sun and Mon as high pressure builds over the region. Another 
strong cold front will move SE across the waters Tue and Tue 
night. 

.TONIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W 20 to 25 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in SW
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW to N in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
4 to 6 ft after midnight. 
.WED...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...The Bermuda High will shift eastward tonight and Sat
ahead of a strong cold front approaching the SE U.S. coast. The 
front will move offshore Sat afternoon, reach from near Bermuda to
E Cuba on Sun afternoon, extend from 24N65W to the Windward 
Passage on Mon afternoon, and then dissipate over the area on Tue.
Near gale to gale-force SW winds ahead of the front and W to NW 
gales behind the front are expected Sat night and Sun over the 
forecast waters north of 28N. High pressure will build across the 
northern waters Mon and Tue as the front stalls and weakens. A 
second - weaker - cold front is likely to emerge off of the SE 
U.S. coast on Tue night or Wed.

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...S of 27N, SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W to NW
20 to 25 kt after midnight. N of 27N, SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt,
shifting to W to NW 25 to 35 kt after midnight. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 20 to 30 kt, shifting to N 15 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE to E swell. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to
3 to 5 ft after midnight.
