Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh easterly winds persist over the eastern Gulf
between a trough over the south central Gulf and high pressure
over the western Atlantic. The moist and relatively warm east
flow also is supporting patchy fog over the north central and
northwest Gulf. The trough will drift into the western Gulf
later today then dissipate late Fri. A cold front will enter the 
northwest Gulf Sat night and Sun, and reach from the Florida Big 
Bend to near Veracruz, Mexico Mon, before stalling from the 
Straits of Florida to the Bay of Campeche by late Tue.

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SUN...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure building over the western Atlantic
will support fresh to strong NE to E winds south of 27N through
Sat night. The high pressure will shift east Sun into Mon,
allowing these winds to diminish. However, will veer more south
to southwest and increase late Sat into Mon off northeast
Florida ahead of a cold front expected to move off the Florida 
coast by late Mon. The front will reach from near Bermuda to the 
Straits of Florida by late Tue night.
