Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from low pressure over southern Georgia to central Florida, then to just north of Fort Myers and to northwest Cuba early this morning. The cold front will exit the eastern Gulf by early this afternoon. High pressure ridging that builds in across the area on Tue will be confined to mainly the northern Gulf waters Wed through Fri night as a surface trough moves westward over the central Gulf. Light to gentle winds can be expected over the area from late Tue through much of Thu. Winds become east at fresh speeds over the eastern Gulf on Thu and shift to east to southeast in direction on Fri.
